Wow!  What a powerful three days last week.  My family and I went to the Mission and Ministry Summit, a three day annual meeting of General Baptists which included the General Association.  For those of you who didn't go, you lost out on a great time of worship, learning, and energizing.  The week featured six powerful worship services with music and preaching that would definitely have moved you to greater faithfulness to God.  The workshops provided training that we all need to generate new ideas for reaching people for Christ and touching our world in His name.

Okay, so it costs quite a bit to attend.  I can understand why most Wolf Bayou churches were not represented.  But, if something is worth paying for you buy it anyway.  I want to challenge each of our churches to assist people in your church so they can attend.  Your investment in them will come back multiplied.  Just get ready to bear the brunt of their renewed enthusiasm.  Next year, you gotta go!
