I just received a letter in my office that should be a cause for celebration among us.  The Wesley Chapel Church is petitioning to join Wolf Bayou Association.  This congregation was a General Baptist Church at one time, but left to join the Freewill Baptists.  They recently hired Chris Carlton as their pastor.  Pastor Chris is an ordained pastor in Post Oak Grove Association.  The Polity & Doctrine Committee will meet with them at some point in the future and have a recommendation for the 2009 Annual Meeting in March.
