For the past several weeks, Roger Harlan, Bobby Killian, and Jay Bittle have been taking a Greek class through Oakland City University.  I knew it would be an interesting class, and I also knew they would all think it would be a tough class.  However, we are all having a lot of fun together discovering not only Greek, but the nuances in the Bible that add to our understanding of His word.

On February 12, we will start another class to be taught by Dwight Decker, Introduction to Ministry.  Although this is a Freshman level course, it will help any pastor our church leader reevaluate what ministry is all about and why we take such pains to do our best.  Ministry opportunities change with our culture so we have to be ready to engage our culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Whether you are a pastor or a church leader, think about taking this course.  Dwight is a great teacher, but whatever grade you receive, your ministry will be made better by what you learn.
