Okay, Okay, Okay, I sure don't keep this current do I. It's tough to keep up with a blog, but here is some new info.
Hopefully, you already know we recognize churches each year who are growing in a variety of ways. I just received a report from Congregational Ministries showing how our churches are doing in the years 2003-2007. Here are the results.
5 churches grew
1 church was plateaued
8 churches declined
As you can tell this does not add up to all our churches. Some of our churches have not reported every year so they were not included. The bottom line for us is to make disciples for Christ. As a family of churches, we can help one another through our fall training event in October and through encouragement. Any church wanting additional help can contact Congregational Ministries. They have some resources available FREE to your church to help your church begin to grow by reaching people for Christ.
