A servant Acts 6: 1-7. Deacons were called to serve the church the widows especially. The need of the church.

Charged: Called by God to be Servants at Searcy. Servant is a waiter, tenant, you are a servant of God, He has placed you here to serve in Humility. Jesus washing the feet of disciples He became a servant. You are not a slave to people but a servant, you are a slave to Jesus Christ

2. Be a defender

Acts 6, Just like Stephen there will be times when you will have to defend your faith you will be required to take a stand and fight for the truth. You must Defend truth, not tradition.
